GRAMBLING, LA – Grambling State University’s School of Nursing has been approved for accreditation through 2020 by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

This accreditation includes both the undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing and the graduate Master of Science in Nursing programs, including the Post Master’s Certificate.

“I would like to congratulate the School of Nursing faculty and staff for their dedication and hard work in preparing for all accreditation visits and for preparing our students for academic success. Special thanks go to our students, community participants, library staff, school of nursing consultants and the Advisory Board members,” said Danita Potter, associate dean of the School of Nursing.

Potter received notification of the accreditation from ACEN on April 2. ACEN officials will next visit the School of Nursing to review the program’s accreditation in spring 2020.
