Mission Statement
The Grambling State University Facilities Department is committed to providing our
students, staff and faculty, a safe, clean and comfortable atmosphere conducive to
learning and working. We have a qualified professional staff that is prepared to deliver
a range of services that maintain and improve the quality of life at the University.
The Facilities Operations Management staff is responsible for the maintenance and
repair of all campus buildings, building equipment, vehicles and grounds.
Routine and emergency work is performed during normal business hours (7:00 am to 4:30
pm Monday-Thursday, and from 7:30 am to 11:30 am on Friday) and emergency work is
performed, as needed, after hours. Construction and renovation projects are also performed
or managed, when and where approved.
