The College of Business is composed of the Department of Accounting, Economics and Information Systems and the Department of Management and Marketing. The college seeks to educate and nurture students to become technically competent, socially conscious, and culturally sensitive leaders for a dynamic and global business environment. The College offers a variety of academic programs and activities to assist students in developing ethical, intellectual, and professional values and skills. The College of Business quality management education program exposes students not only to high academic rigor but also to business experiences and is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International. As such, students who study in the College are well-prepared for graduate school and for careers in business, government, and other selected fields of endeavor. The College emphasizes close student-professor relationships in which students are helped to identify their area(s) of interest and to acquire the knowledge and skills to achieve in their chosen fields.
