Welcome to the home of The Grambling 1000 (G1K), your dollars for scholars supporters of Grambling State University. We are glad that you found our home page and invite you to participate as we provide academic scholarships to deserving high school students who will be enrolling at Grambling State University.
The Grambling 1000 (G1K) is a legion of supporters of Grambling State University (GSU) who are each giving a financial gift of $1,000 to help make Grambling a more attractive destination for high achieving high school seniors through scholarships. We will fund academic scholarships to deserving high school students who will be enrolling at Grambling State University.
Students must have a 3.0 GPA and a 22 ACT score or a 1400 SAT Score
We are selflessly committed to equipping the academic recruiters of GSU with the financial resources needed to better compete in the education marketplace for high achieving students.
100% of Funds raised will be used for Student Scholarships and recruitment efforts.
Our goal is to ultimately provide $2.5 million in academic scholarship funds annually to GSU.
To assist with funding students who will successfully matriculate through GSU in 4-5 years and help elevate the graduation and retention rates along with lifting campus-wide grade point average.
