On the Passing of Ark-La-Tex Legendary Radio and Television Journalist Known as the “Goodwill Ambassador”

To the Griffin Family:  

On behalf of our entire Grambling State University community, we want to offer our sincerest condolences on the passing of Bob Griffin. 

He is remembered with deep appreciation for his coverage of our athletic teams, especially for his notable coverage of our football team during the leadership of coach Eddie Robinson. The apparent respect and adoration he exhibited for Grambling State Athletics will be forever cherished.  

We will remember his life and contributions as an example of a person driven by passion and authenticity.  

As you endure this challenging time, we hope you take comfort in his outstanding impact. We are forever grateful for his work and will keep you lifted in our thoughts and prayers.
