The Office of Institutional Planning, Assessment, Research, and Effectiveness are tied to two institutional committees. Both committees provide annual reports to the Offices of the Provost and President.
The Academic Assessment Committee oversees the programmatic assessment functions of the institution. This includes the review of Academic Assessment Plans (AAP), Assessment Reports, and the implementation of improvement actions focused on student learning.
The Co-Curricular and Support Unit Assessment Committee oversees programmatic and unit level assessment for the non-academic areas of the institution. Like the Academic Assessment Committee, it reviews CCSU Assessment Plans, Assessment Reports, and the use of data during improvement action implementation.
