Grambling State University, KGRM Radio, and the Division of Institutional Advancement will host its 3rd Annual Radiothon on Friday, October 17 as a part of its homecoming weekend activities. The day-long radiothon will be broadcast live on Grambling’s own KGRM 91.5 FM Radio Station on the 2nd floor of the Washington-Johnson Complex. Special guests will be live, and by phone throughout the day.
The Radiothon’s purpose is to support the university’s overall effort to enhance the academic profile of the institution by publicly promoting the outstanding achievements of its faculty and staff; to increase awareness among alumni, friends, community, and local businesses about the importance of giving to the university.
Gifts to the Radiothon will be allocated for academic scholarships and recruitment/retention efforts.
To participate, listeners are encouraged to call 318.274.2182 or bring their contributions during the 12-hour live broadcast.
