Get Involved!

The Grambling State University College of Business Center for Student Professional Development (CSPD) Program provides opportunities for alumni, friends and industry to support the College of Business (COB).  Of course, we need and encourage our COB alumni to “RE-ENGAGE” with the COB and fellow alumni.  Please contact Ms. Greta Carter, CSPD Director, at carterg@gram.edu or (318) 274-3855.

Opportunities for Alumni, Friends and Industry Partners:

Become a Mentor

The CSPD Mentoring Program provides students in the Center for Student Professional Development with the opportunity to benefit from real world advice to will help them navigate a successful path through the College of Business and prepare for career success in their chosen field of endeavor. A network of alumni, industry professionals and supporters volunteer to serve as student mentors and advisors.  Mentors share perspectives on their own education and career development, offer advice about their professional fields and share advice on how to prepare for life after graduation.

Alumni, friends and industry professionals are encouraged to partner with the CSPD as workshop and seminar presenters, informational session panelists, and  as webinar hosts via instructional technology sessions. College of Business (COB) alumni, industry friends and supporters, along with their respective organizations and businesses, are encouraged to make contributions to the COB Tiger Development Fund. We also accept “in-kind” donations.  We will provide timely, tax acknowledgement letters and activity reports regarding how the funds are used on an ongoing basis.
