1st Annual Radiothon

Grambling State University and the Radiothon Committee would like to thank everyone for their commitment and contribution to the University's 1st Annual Radiothon; held on Friday, October 19, 2012.
As you know, the purpose of this annual radiothon was to increase awareness among alums, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends about the importance of giving back to the University and to ultimately build up scholarship awards and enhance our academic programs. With the help of donations that we received from patrons such as you, we believe we were able to accomplish that and more by raising a total of $25,267 towards this effort.
Although we were not able to reach our goal of $100,000, we are inspired by the momentous spirit of giving that was displayed, and remain thankful for the heart felt testimonials communicated during our live broadcast. This Radiothon is not just about Institutional Advancement or KGRM; it is about continuing the progressive educational mission of Grambling State University and providing excellent educational opportunities for our students. With everyone working together in this way, we all benefit tremendously.
We are looking forward to making next year's Radiothon bigger and better as more alums, parents, faculty, staff, students and friends become aware of this event, and understand the importance of giving back.
