GRAMBLING, LA – The Grambling State University Recreation and Intramural Sports kicked off the school year with the “Tiger”lympics event on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in the Intramural Center.

Students were placed on teams and battled it out participating in relay races, obstacle courses, three point and hot shot contests. Scores were taken and then teams were placed in brackets for the dodge ball tournament finale. The DJ provided live music to keep the action going.

Team Rankings were as follows: 1st Place-Team Dem Boys with Alex M., Rannie M., Jaylen H., and Elisha M., 108 points; 2nd Place-Team Unknown with Kyron Jones, Keidrick Johnson, Jaden Sutton, and Brandon Johnson, 107 points; and 3rd Place-Team Elite with Vaughn J., Devonte C., Marcell L., and Blake C., 68 points.
