Graduate Assistantships

Graduate assistantships offer financial support and valuable experience for full-time graduate students. A limited number are available each semester to students with a minimum 3.0 undergraduate GPA and “regular” admission status.

To apply, complete the Graduate Assistantship Application and three recommendations from individuals who can speak to your academic ability and work ethic. We also encourage you to contact your department to express interest directly.

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in at least 9 graduate credit hours

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

  • Good academic and assistantship performance for renewal

Deadlines:

  • July 1 for Fall

  • October 1 for Spring

Financial Assistance

Grambling State offers institutional, state, and federal financial aid to help eligible students invest in their education. Support may include scholarships, grants, student employment, and loans—each designed to meet you where you are and help you keep going.
