United Way Giving Campaign

Give United Continuing the Grambling State Tradition of Community Support

Grambling State University has a history of being a vital contributor to Lincoln and surrounding Parishes.  GSU President encourages the Grambling Family to continue its support of the annual campus United Way Campaign.  Thanks to the generous support of our faculty, staff and students; community senior citizens receive a warm meal, a child is provided a much needed mentor, and a family member is getting assistance to make it through a crisis. These and many other moments are only possible due to caring individuals throughout our campus community who support the efforts of the Northeast Louisiana United Way by participating in the annual fundraising campaign.

The Grambling State University campaign offers several ways to participate in this year’s annual fund drive.  You can make a financial contribution, volunteer as a mentor or volunteer to serve in another capacity.  You may show your support for this year’s campaign by participating in the following ways:

  • Payroll Deductions: Payroll deductions allow the donor to make monthly installments on the amount pledged.  The Payroll deductions will begin January  and can be deducted Bi-Weekly or Monthly through December, or as specified on the Pledge Form.  Employees can specify a one-time payroll deduction for a specified amount. Payroll Deduction Forms should be submitted to Human Resources in room 148 of Long-Jones Hall.
  • One-time donation: If you would like to make a one-time donation, you may also write a personal check, use a credit/debit card or bring cash with the Pledge Card to the Cashier’s window in Long Jones Hall.  All checks should be made payable to United Way of Northeast Louisiana.
  • Volunteer: Several of the United Way Community Partners need volunteers throughout the year. For more information on how you can volunteer, visit https://unitedwaynela.org/volunteer.

Thanks for all that YOU do to help our community to be GRAMUNITED!
