Residential Hall Options
Living in Tiger Land is an integral part of the University experience. There are five
traditional residence halls and ten apartment-style units on the Grambling campus.
The smallest residence hall houses 28 students and the largest more than 250. Residence
halls are grouped as follows:

Female Halls: Jewett, Hunter, Robinson, Truth, Douglass, Bowen, Bethune
Male Halls: Attucks, Tubman, Knott, Wheatley, Pinchback, Garner
Co-Ed Halls: Jones, Tubman, Adams, Holland, Richmond, Steeple Glen, West Campus
Jewett Hall: Traditional, double occupancy, all female residence hall, with community showers/bathrooms.
It is located in the heart of campus, next to Grambling Hall. Jewett Hall is a two
story building that houses 54 students. There is no classification requirement for
this assignment.
Each room in Jewett Hall has the following for each resident:

Roommates share the following:

Hunter Hall: traditional, double occupancy/suite style, all female residence hall. It is located
on Main Street across from The Tiger Express Snack Bar. Hunter Hall is a two story
building that houses 92 students. There is no classification requirement for this
assignment.
Each room in Hunter Hall has the following for each resident:

Robinson Hall: traditional, double occupancy/suite style, all female residence hall. It is located
on Main Street across from The Tiger Express Snack Bar. Robinson Hall is a two story
building that houses 72 students. There is no classification requirement for this
assignment.
Each room in Robinson Hall has the following for each resident:

Jeanes Hall: traditional, double occupancy, all male residence hall, with community showers/bathrooms.
It is located on Grambling Street, across the street from Jacob T. Stewart Hall. Jeanes
Hall is a two story building that houses 100 students. There is no classification
requirement for this assignment. This facility is currently off-line.

Tiger Village - Jones, Truth (Female), Tubman, Adams: apartment style residence halls featuring 2 and 4 bedrooms. Located on R.W.E. Jones
Drive, these facilities are three-story buildings that house 94-180 students.
Each bedroom in Tiger Village - Jones, Truth, Tubman, Adams has the following:

Tiger Village - Holland: co-ed Freshmen, apartment style residence halls featuring 2 and 4 bedrooms. Located
at the corner of R.W.E. Jones Drive and Central Avenue, this facility is a three-story
building that houses 148 students. This building is for FRESHMAN MALES & FEMALE ONLY.
Each bedroom in Tiger Village - Holland has the following:

Tiger Village - Knott: all male, double occupancy, residence hall. Located on Central Avenue across from
the Intramural Center, this facility is a three-story building that houses 192 students.
This building is for FRESHMAN MALES ONLY.

Tiger Village - Bethune: All female, double occupancy, residence hall. Located on Williams Street, this facility
is a three-story building that houses 216 students. Upperclassmen females.

Street, this facility is a three-story building that house 85 students. This building
is for freshmen only.

FEMALES only.

Attucks Hall: all male, apartment style residence hall featuring 4 bedrooms only. Located on Sandle
Street, this facility is a two-story building that house 37 students. This building
is for freshmen MALE only.

Richmond Hall:Co-ed, two-story apartment style facility with 2 bedroom/1bath apartments. Located
off Facilities Drive. Richmond is home to 27 upperclassmen residents. This facility is currently off-line.

Each apartment style unit in Richmond Hall shares the following:

Steeple’s GlenCo-ed, apartment style facility featuring four bedrooms only. This complex is located
at the corner of Maxie Street and Central Avenue. These two-story complexes house
48 upperclassmen residents.

Each apartment style unit in Steeple’s Glen shares the following:

GSU West Bungalows Co-ed, Double occupancy or private room available, with community showers/bathrooms.
They hold up to 80 students. These are for our Juniors and Seniors.

Each Bungalow style unit at GSU West shares the following:
