Recent Board Action

UPDATE:

Conditional Approval for BSN; As per February 23, 2015, Louisiana State Board of Nursing at its February 19, 2015 Board Meeting. The Board acted regarding the 2013-2014 Annual Report for Grambling State University’s Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing as follows:

  • Accepted the Annual Report of the baccalaureate degree in nursing program at Grambling State University.
  • And further, the Board instructed Grambling State University to Show Cause at the April 9, 2015 Board meeting as to why they should be allowed to continue the nursing program.

Louisiana State Board of Nursing Action:

"The Board instructed Grambling State University to cease admission of new students and to Show Cause as to why they should be allowed to continue admitting students to the nursing program."
