Graduate Nursing Program
In the Grambling State University School of Nursing Graduate Nursing program, students are encouraged to think critically, nurture healthy mental and physical habits, understand social institutions and health policy and their influence on society, and integrate knowledge acquired in advanced practice nursing roles. Graduate nursing faculty employ the theoretical works of Patricia Benner’s Novice to Expert in the development of course content from the fundamental to the complex level in preparation of graduates from the novice advanced practice nurse toward competence in the FNP and PNP roles.
