Professor Precious Wilkerson-Carr joined the School of Social Work Faculty in August 2021 and currently serves as Coordinator
of the Title IV-E Child Welfare Scholar Program, lecturer, and advisor. She is a graduate
of Grambling State University and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She specializes
in treating adolescent behavioral issues, child and adult trauma, and multiple intervention
models for psychotherapy at the micro and macro levels. Professor Wilkerson-Carr has
18 years of experience including clinical practice, supervision, and program administration.
She teaches courses in Introduction to Social Work, Child Welfare, and Field Practicum.
