Human Resources

The Office of Human Resources is dedicated to creating and sustaining a rewarding work experience while attracting the talent that drives Grambling State University forward. This team leads efforts to recruit, develop, and retain employees who share a commitment to excellence.

Grambling State University prohibits discrimination based on sex—including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity—in admissions, employment, and education.

The Office of Civil Rights, EEO & Title IX oversees reports of sex discrimination, sexual misconduct, power-based violence, and retaliation, while also assisting with accommodations, including those related to pregnancy.

In addition to resolving complaints, the office provides training on rights and responsibilities. At Grambling State, we are committed to a culture of respect, accountability, and safety.

Contract Process

Contracts Administration

The Contracts Administration team manages the full lifecycle of university contracts—from review and negotiation to approval and execution. Each agreement is carefully vetted to align with Grambling State University’s mission, comply with legal and policy standards, and protect institutional interests.

The team collaborates with departments and external partners to clarify terms, address risk, and ensure thorough documentation. With a proactive approach and clear processes, Contracts Administration promotes accountability, transparency, and operational efficiency.

Procurement & Purchasing

The Purchasing Department has sole authority to acquire supplies, equipment, and services for Grambling State University. All university-managed funds must follow established purchasing policies and comply with state regulations.

Departments may not place orders independently without written approval. Through centralized and strategic procurement, Purchasing secures resources efficiently and cost-effectively. The team works closely with campus units to ensure responsible spending, vendor accountability, and the seamless support of Grambling State’s daily operations and long-term mission.
