Mass Communication Degrees and Advising
The Department of Mass Communication offers two degree programs: A Bachelor of Arts degree with concentrations in Broadcasting Journalism, Integrated Communication, Sports Journalism and Public Relations; and a Master of Arts degree in Mass Communication. The department was first nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC) in 1993. The accreditation was reaffirmed in 1999, 2005 and 2011.
