Advanced Statistics Laboratory


Advanced Statistics Laboratory is part of Educational Resource Center. The lab has computer systems that have licensed statistics software (e.g. SPSS). In addition, there is a multimedia station that contains various projection units and media. 

Purpose of the lab is to assist Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Students in research; especially in statistical data analysis. The lab provides following services:

  • Assist faculty and students with research design
  • Assist faculty and students in analyzing and interpreting data.
  • Conduct workshops on various research designs and statistical analysis.
  • Usage of lab by faculty and graduate students in research, thesis, and dissertation data analysis.
  • Usage of multimedia station for presentations.

The lab is supervised by graduate assistants, who have been trained by the manager on the most common needs. The assistants contact the manager in cases when he/she cannot resolve or answer a question.
