Transcript of Academic Record

Students may request an official academic transcript by accessing the online-transcript ordering system through a secure website, Parchment or via the student’s Bannerweb Account.  This process is very efficient and user-friendly.  No transcript requests will be processed unless the student’s admissions file is complete and/or until all financial obligations to the University have been satisfied in accordance with the effective debt policy. All transfer work will be recorded on the Grambling State University transcript.

The University will not copy and release transcripts and/or test scores from other colleges/institutions. Students should request this information directly from the appropriate college/university, high school, or testing service. Academic advisors may have access to students’ records for advising purposes only.

Electronic transcripts are usually received by the student or recipient within one to three business days after the request is received except during school holidays and the end of the semester.   Mailed transcripts are usually received by the student or recipient within 5 to 7 business days, unless there are extenuating circumstances not controlled by the university.  At the end of each semester, approximately ten business days are required to process a transcript request.   Students may also request their official academic transcripts to be printed and mailed by U.S. mail.  Students requesting express mailing will submit payment directly to the courier service of choice and make all necessary arrangements for pick-up from the Office of the Registrar located in Grambling Hall, Suite 18, and Grambling, LA  71245.  Signed transcript requests may also be faxed to 318-274-2777 or sent via email to registrar@gram.edu  as a PDF attachment.   Students may also obtain an unofficial transcript by accessing their student record via Bannerweb Account or request an official transcript by clicking here (Official Transcript Request).

Note:  A transcript sent to the student is considered unofficial.
